Today, I just wanna tell you guys a true story about one of my classmate---Victor, who is major in computer science too. In daily life, this guy is very easy-going and his face always hangs on an amiable smile which make others just feeling relax and in the sun. Maybe you would say that you have met hundreds of those kinda men who you only comment as optimists. But after my depicting him to you, you will definitely share the same idea with me.

In our sophomore year, Victor decided to participant the postgraduate enrollment examination. To my surprise, he chose electronic engineering department! SJTU buddies should all know that the double E department is extremely sharp, full of top students, of course including those kaoyaner.

Since in my memory, victor hadn’t got such a brilliant academic marks and didn’t study as hard as ShenLifeng(the symbol of diligent) does. While he seemed being so confident about the future, I just need to work hard to pursue my dream and bless all my kaoyaner classmates especially YiBoLiu.

In the following semester, I just struggled to survive and sometimes just felt kinda of helpless exhausted. You guys should all know that victor had to endure whole that I was enduring and what’s more, he got an extra course of operating system. Every time when I strolled to his dorm and found him was playing dota excitingly with a huge bulk of books on the table, I just thought this man was screwed…

Actually, he set himself a diligent schedule, too. Just in the period before we gonna to have the test of microcomputer principle, Victor studied (yes, it’s study not review) it every afternoon, the night was belong to DSP,  for about two weeks. Although he failed in that examination, to my pitiful, I am sorry to hear that he also didn’t pass the cryptology and the operating system(2th times).

Fortunately, his kaoyan score is strong enough to have the retrial while many EE students hadn’t reach that. But it’s to early to have a celebration. In the retrial, Victor had to study(yes! study again) two difficult courses in only 4 days! Oh my word! He just taken two compensative examinations for the courses that he didn’t pass I mentioned beyond.

I admitted I was stunned by this amazing guy. It’s hard for me just to imagine the burden once on his shoulder. So, never neglect a man’s potential especially in SJTU. It will never be a bit deal that he played a lot and failed in many tests when he is on the name list of matriculate(so am I, haha).

Yes, we harvest the success that we seed our sweat. It’s a cheerful moment.

For my friends who is disappointed with the result: You are not loser! You should always remember this tip. Nothing can destroy a man’s soul. Future is still grabbed by you. I really hope that you can walk out the shadow soon.
